Babi has been under the care of the National Animal Protection Foundation since 2015.
As a puppy she had been shot in the spine, and thus she cannot use her hind legs and is assisted in her movement by a dog wheelchair for hind legs.

As a result of her horrible injury she cannot control her urination and needs dog nappies.
Dogs with a damaged control of urination very often suffer from lower urinary tract infections. Babi, too, regularly had cystitis, because of which she is continuously being fed a diet protecting the urinary tract and kidneys. In addition, she is receiving a food supplement supporting the urinary bladder and, whenever cystitis recurs, she requires antibiotic therapy as well.
However, since the time when she started to receive the Burgimmune immunoenhancer product, the previously regularly occurring cystitis has not recurred.
